Not Schengen membership. Weymarck is outside the Schengen Area and the EU. Travellers on the sealed Scharnitz highway/rail spine encounter Austrian/German corridor formalities under Treaty of Seefeld Art. 5. The highland interior remains under royal jurisdiction. There are no casual tourist checkpoints into Weystadt because casual tourism is not admitted.

Who may enter the interior

  • Persons holding a Crown Invitation Letter (diplomatic, academic, philanthropic, or fiduciary)
  • Holders of a Weymarck passport or laissez-passer
  • Neighbour-desk staff on duty (Vienna / Munich desks)

Invitation procedure

  1. Sponsor files Form MIA-INV-1 via Vienna or Munich intermediary office.
  2. Screening for intent; confidentiality undertaking (Controlled Disclosure).
  3. Invitation Letter issued (validity typically 14–90 days).
  4. Arrival via corridor desk; interior transfer arranged by Crown Office transport.
